My Reroots

Here are Cabbies that I have made over with new wool hair

Izzy was my first reroot. She is a #4 bald preemie that I rerooted with long loops and two tiny starburst ponies. She was inspired by a gorgeous full size kid on another collector's website - since I couldn't adopt that kid, I decided to create my own version! Kylee is another bald preemie that I rerooted. I gave her thick lions mane bangs and fuzzy starburst ponies. I gave her a sprinkling of freckles. Emma is a #12 kid that I rerooted with lions mane bangs and starburst ponies. I also gave her some freckles. Emma has been readopted by my sister.

Miko is a hasbro bean butt preemie that I won in a lot. I rerooted him with white loops, and I knit him a complete outfit - hat, romper and booties. Raya is an IC factory kid that I rerooted with looped bangs and a multi-braid ponytail. Raya is living with my cousin. Lizzy is a reroot that I made for a swap. She was rerooted with 3 rows of looped bangs, and two fuzzy starburst ponies.

Kimmee is a cornsilk cabbie that I rerooted with looped bangs and two starburst ponies. Baby Rose is a mattel cabbie that I rerooted with fuzzy bangs and ponies. I made her a little teddy bear, and put her on ebay. She was adopted by a friend in Georgia. Laila has been my most difficult reroot! I wanted to recreate the Coleco popcorn look - as I love Coleco popcorn cabbies, but often find their adoption fees are too high. I am very happy with this reroot.

Una is one of the first CPKs I adopted. She had thick brown hair, so I rerooted her with tan yarn to give her a new look.  Marina used to be a cornsilk CPK. I rerooted her hair in the classic coleco 2-pony hairstyle.  Anne Shirley came to me with blue hair! She was originally a double pony lemon girl that someone had started rerooting but never finished. I gave her a more classic jesmar hairstyle.

Lily Mae used to be a bald preemie named Romeo. I rerooted her using two shades of yellow wool. Lily is one of the few cabbies I rerooted in a non-coleco style. I really love this look!
